The GB Interceptor is an adapter that sits between your unmodified Game Boy and game cartridge, allowing you to stream or record gameplay directly to your PC via USB.
Powered by the Raspberry Pi RP2040 microcontroller, it delivers a clean video feed without requiring any modifications to your Game Boy console.
This product is based on the open-source project GB Interceptor. Our shop provides professional soldering and shell assembly services for the circuit board, ensuring reliable basic operation.

How to Use
Important: Always connect the GB Interceptor’s USB cable before turning on your Game Boy.

Insert the GB Interceptor into your Game Boy

Insert your game cartridge into the GB Interceptor

Connect the GB Interceptor to your computer via USB

Turn on your Game Boy

Open your video capture software and select the GB Interceptor as your video source
OBS Setup Example (Windows)

Download and install OBS Studio

With your console turned off, insert the GB Interceptor and your game cartridge

Open OBS → Create a new Video Capture Device source → Click “OK”

Power on your Game Boy — your gameplay video will appear in OBS
